MSN Web Messenger

MSN Web Messenger is a browser-based messaging program that allows you to chat to people from your MSN buddy list. Launched in August 2004, this is a more easier way of messaging due to no software to install. It is ideal for use on public computers which do not allow you to install the full MSN Messenger for security reasons.

People using MSN Messenger can see if someone is using the Web Messenger service because an icon is displayed next to the contact's name ().
