MTV Networks is the corporate division of media conglomerate Viacom that oversees the operation of the following cable television networkss:

The company was established after Viacom's 1986 purchase of Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, and The Movie Channel and all other assets of Warner-Amex Satellite Entertainment Company from Warner Communications.
