Muth-labben
The Hebrew word Muth-labben relates to Psalm 8 and 144 where there is a sub-scription 'To the chief Musician upon Muth-labben'. This word relates to the giant Goliath see also I Samuel 17 v 4, 46 etc. The Septuagent adds it to Ps.144 "concerning Goliath" and the same words are used in both Psalms at verse 4 in Ps.8 and verse 3 in Ps.144 where the structure of this Psalm is peculiarly appropriate to King David's victory of I Sam. 17. These Psalms therefore speak of the great victory of the young David over the enemy of the people of Israel.
