Myeloid

"Myeloid cells" is a subsummating term for all hemopoietic cells except the lymphoid ones (T-cells, B-cells, NK-cells, dendritic cells).

The following cell types arise from myeloid progenitors:

Dentritic cell (i.e. Langerhans cells)

Monocytes

*(Macrophages / Osteoclasts)

Neutrophils

Eosinophils

Basophils

Megakaryocytes

*(Platelets)

Erythrocytes
