MY STORY(Ayumi Hamasaki)

"MY STORY" is Ayumi Hamasaki's sixth full-length studio album, excluding her mini studio album "Memorial address". It was in stores on December 15th, 2004. The album includes three singles - "Moments", "INSPIRE/GAME" and "CAROLS", produced by Max Matsuura. During its first release, there was limited edition of 4 different artworks for the fans to choose from. They can also choose to buy the "CD only" version or the "CD+DVD" one - in which the DVD is a collection of her seven latest music videos. For promotional purpose, "ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2005 ~MY STORY~" was scheduled from January to April. During the concert tour, "MY STORY" was released again as "SACD" and "DVD Audio" which are of higher sound quality to appreciate Hamasaki's musical and vocal improvement. As usual, all lyrics on the album are written by Hamasaki, and two of the seventeen tracks were composed by her as well under the pen name "CREA". It peaked at number one on "Oricon" - the Japan record sales chart and reached sales of more than 1000000 copies at this moment.
