Ned IrishEdward S. "Ned" Irish (b. May 6, 1905 in Lake George, New York - d. January 21, 1982) was a basketball promoter and has been one of the key figures in popularizing pro basketball. He has been the president of the New York Knicks from 1946 to 1974.
