Nedor Comics
Nedor Comics (also known as Standard or Better or Thrilling, and had some connection to the pulp magazine publisher of the same name) was a prolific Golden-Age publisher of titles. Their most well known character is the Black Terror. Most current comic book readers are familiar with the characters due to their use in Alan Moore's Tom Strong, and the Terra Obscura spin-off. AC Comics has also revised and reprinted some of these characters as well.
