Negro World

Weekly newspaper published by Marcus Mosiah Garvey during the 1920s and 30s. It was the voice of the organization Garvey founded the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League.

Editors and contributors to the Negro World included:

Zora Neale Hurston, Duse Mohamed Ali, Amy Jacques Garvey, Carter Godwin Woodson, W. A. Domingo, Hubert Henry Harrison, Timothy Thomas Fortune, Arthur Schomburg, John Edward Bruce, William Henry Ferris, Norton G. G. Thomas, and Eric D. Walrond.
