Nevada State Chess Association
The Nevada State Chess Association (NSCA) is the official Nevada affiliate of the American Chess Association. It is a non-profit organization. The NSCA was the official state affiliate for the United States Chess Federation (USCF) from 1989 until the membership voted (737 to 39) to disaffiliate in 1999. It has been the official state affiliate for the American Chess Association since 1996. As of 2005, the Nevada State Invitational, Closed and Open champion titles are all held by Stan Vaughan.
