Nevele Nevele is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Hansbeke, Landegem, Merendree, Nevele proper, Poesele and Vosselare. On January 1st, 2004 Nevele had a total population of 11,045 (5,449 males and 5,596 females). The total area is 51.89 km² which gives a population density of 212.83 inhabitants per km².
