New Experimental Team (N.EX.T)
N.EX.T (New EXperimental Team), a project of talented singer and song writer Shin Hae Chul (신해철), is a South Korean gayo music group. Living up to their name, no two N.EX.T albums or even songs for that matter are alike. N.EX.T's music shifts from slow ballads, to heavy metal, to progressive rock at the drop of a hat. N.EX.T formed in 1992 and broke up in 1997 after releasing 4 studio albums, 3 live albums, and 2 singles. Shin Hae Chul reformed N.EX.T in 2004 to release a fifth album with a completely new band.

N.EX.T Discography 5집 - The Return Of N.EX.T Part 3 - 개한민국 (2004)* The title is a pun on 대한민국 (Republic of Korea). 개 (dog), replacing 대, changes the meaning to loosely mean "Bitch's Republic of Korea." * N.EX.T's fifth album, produced entirely by Shin Hae Chul, is a two-disc opus with two distinct themes. Disc one, "The Book Of War," is packed with hard-hitting, angry, and political themes. Disc two, "The Diary of a Soldier," is filled with introspective and melodic themes.
