Nina Kiriki Hoffman
Nina Kiriki Hoffman (born 1955) is an American fantasy writer. She started publishing short stories in 1983, but has since published a number of novels, including The Thread that Binds the Bones, The Silent Strength of Stones, and A Fistful of Sky. Her best known works are set in the American West and involve people (often entire familes) with magical talents. These stories have invited comparison to Ray Bradbury's stories on similar themes. She lives in Eugene, Oregon.
