The NJT 139 runs express from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City to Old Bridge, NJ, and then local from Old Bridge, NJ to Lakewood bus terminal, about 30 miles south. The line is a vital and well travelled corridor, with the heaviest traffic being local travellers in between Old Bridge and Lakewood. It is vital on this line to know when your stop is, as drivers don't stop at each for very long; you have to be ready. Stops in some areas are far apart, but in other areas are every block.
