Noregs Mållag
Noregs Mållag (Unoffical translation: The Language Organisation of Norway) is the main organisation for Nynorsk (New Norwegian), one of the Norwegian languages. Noregs Mållag has about 12,000 individual members and consists of approximately 200 local groups. This includes the youth organization, Norsk Målungdom. Noregs Mållag works towards the promotion of Nynorsk in every field of Norwegian society. Today, approximately 640,000 Norwegians use Nynorsk as their primary written language. However, the majority of the population speak dialects more closely represented by Nynorsk than by Bokmål (Dano-Norwegian). Website of Noregs Mållag
