Nova Scotia Voyageurs

The Nova Scotia Voyageurs were the main farm club for the Montreal Canadiens from 1971-1984. The team was based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, playing at the Halifax Forum. The team was the first Canadian club to win the Calder Cup, and were the class of the league for many years. The team would become the Edmonton Oilers affiliate, the Nova Scotia Oilers. Nova Scotian Al MacNeil coached the team for many years.

Some of the best players in the history of the game have played for the "Vees", including Ken Dryden, Larry Robinson, and Guy Carbonneau
