Nueva GermaniaNueva Germania ("New Germania") is a small village in rural Paraguay. It was founded in the late 1800s as an Aryan colony by Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche, the Aryan nationalist sister of the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, and some other German settlers. The colony purportedly later had contacts with Josef Mengele, the National Socialist medical scientist who fled post-war Germany to hide in Brazil.
