Numbuh One

Nigel Uno, known by his codename Numbuh One, is a fictional character and the leader of Sector V of the Kids Next Door. Numbuh One speaks with a British accent. He has an overprotective girlfriend, Lizzie. Numbuh One is usually the person who motivates Numbuhs Two, Three, Four and Five to act.

Currently 11 (Op JEWELS), One is probably the most devoted operative on his team. He is shown to be an extreme workaholic (Op QUIET) who's personality rests significantly on his status as a KND membuh (Op GROWUP). This can also cause conflicts with his team when they want to relax, or feel that he is taking his job too seriously/being a paranoid wierdo. (Op COLLEGE, BEACH, CAMP)

In Fandom, One is probably the most paired, with various people supporting him with almost every other main character. Oddly enough, his canon relationship (which is the only official canon romance in the show) with Lizzie is one of the least popular pairings, trailing behind 1/5, 1/3, 1/4, and a host of others. Much of this is attributed to Lizzie's initial behaviors, especially her introduction (Op LIZZIE) where she used a mind control device (referred to as a "boyfriend helmet") on him. However, after recent, more positive episodes (Op POOL) it seems to be gaining a foothold in the shipping wars.

Numbuh One usually wears a red sweater, grey shorts and brown boots (which contain booster rockets, allowing for flight). He is seldom seen without his sunglasses. It is mentioned in Op FOUNTAIN that the Delightful Children from Down the Lane caused Numbuh One to be bald (his hair was believed to have been brown or black before the incident), though the method has not yet been explained.
