O Homem Que Copiava (The Man Who Copied) is a brazilian film by Jorge Furtado. Year: 2003.
Synopsis
Porto Alegre-RS, Brazil. André Maciel (Lázaro Ramos) is a relatively poor young man that works as photocopier (Photocopy Machine Operator, as he says) in a shop.
He often sees his neighbours with a telescope he has. In one of this night-neighbourhood-eyes-excursions he has met Silvia (Leandra Leal), and he falls in love with her.
In the next day, he follows her in order to know where she works. She discover that she works in a clothes shop.
In order to talk with her, he ask for a cloth to his mother. The piece of cloth he choosed costed R$ 50,00 and he has no money for it and no way to get it.
More people will appear in the film, like the beautiful Marinęs (Luana Piovani), who works with André, the false dandy Cardoso (Pedro Cardoso), the cruel father of Silvia (Carlos Cunha), getting into a good and well-worked story, in this sympatic comedy.
