Omega manA 1971 film, directed by Boris Segal, in which Charlton Heston plays the last man alive in a world of night-dwelling vampiric mutants. Loosely based on Richard matheson's novel "I Am Legend", this ranks as one of the best sci fi films (although consistently overlooked and underrated). The film is most notable for some fantasic shots of a deserted downtown Los Angeles, and a superb, haunting score by Ron Grainer. |
