OssamOssam (in Bulgarian: Осъм) is the name of a river in North Bulgaria, with a length of 314 km and a catchment area of 2 820 kmē. The river takes its source from the foot of the peak "Levski" in Stara Planina, at an altitude of 1821 m. Ossam flows into the Black Sea near the town of Nikopol.The ancient name of the river was Assamus. List of the towns on the Ossam's valley:
