Oxford University Invariant SocietyThe Invariant Society is an association of undergraduates at Oxford University with an interest in mathematics. It arranges a programme of regular lectures on topics beyond the taught curriculum. The society takes its name from the mathematical concept of invariance. It was founded in 1936 to 'promote interest in all branches of Mathematics'. The first lecture was reputedly delivered by G. H. Hardy. External link
