Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station
Oyster Creek is a single unit thermal boiling water reactor power plant located in Lacey Township, New Jersey. It is owned and operated by AmerGen Energy. It is the oldest operating comercial power plant in the United States.
Unit One Unit One is a 610MWe nuclear boiling water reactor. It first came online on December 1, 1969, and it is licenced to operate through April 4, 2009. The reactor gets its cooling water from the Atlantic Ocean.
