Pachsegink lodge

 

Pachsegink lodge

Order of the Arrow lodge that is chartered by the Des Plaines Valley Council out of La Grange, IL. It is lodge number 246, and was formed on the 1st of January, 1994, after the merger of West Surburban Council and Thatcher Woods Area Concil into Des Plaines Valley Council. The old lodge from Thatcher Woods Area Council was Shin-Go-Beek Lodge 334, while the lodge from West Surburban Council was Leekwinai Lodge 157. 246 is the average of the two lodge numbers. Pachsegink means "in the valley", which corresponds to the then new council, Des Plains Valley Council.

The lodge has over 1200 registered members and conducts several events each year.
