PekanPekan is the royal town for the state of Pahang. Was one of the state capital until it was shifted to Kuala Lipis and subsequently to Kuantan. Is the home of the state's royal family and also the home town of the current deputy prime minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib.
