Peterson's
Peterson's is an American test preparation company that publishes materials designed to prepare students to pass high school and college entrance exams, and that offers college entrance exam preparation classes. It is a subdivison of The Thomson Corporation.
Competitors Peterson's has a number of competitors: The Princeton Review is Peterson's biggest competitor in the test preparation and K-12 education markets. Princeton Review offers many of the same offerings as Peterson's -- SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT -- in a similar classroom format. Princeton Review also has a focus on K-12 education in the school, where they work with school districts to meet state standards.
Princeton Review Homepage Kaplan is the other dominant player in the test preparation industry. They addditionally have an adult education focus to their business for adult certification and degree programs. PrepMe is one of a new breed of test preparation service providers that offer exclusively online courses for test preparation.
