Pigeonhed
Pigeonhed was a Seattle, Washington-area band that combined elements of funk, soul, trip hop, and lo-fi. The band was a collaboration of Shawn Smith and Steve Fisk that lasted from 1993 to 1997 and produced only three albums. They are perhaps best known for their Prince homage "Battle Flag", which, as remixed (and arguably totally retooled) by Lo Fidelity Allstars, enjoyed brief popularity in US and UK clubs and indie radio stations.
