Pisco sour

Pisco sour

A Pisco sour is a cocktail coming from Peru containing pisco (a local alcohol containing grape), lemon (green or yellow following the tastes) and liquid cane sugar (which is much simpler to mix than sugar in powders).

Preparatory mode

In a mixer or in a shaker (it is possible also directly in glass), pour 3 oz of pisco, 2 oz of liquid cane sugar and 1 oz of lemon. Add then egg albumine (1 per 4 people approximately). Agitate until the disappearance of the various layers. Add a few drops of Amargo de Angostura, for a perfect results.
Good tasting.

It is possible also to make rum sour, whisky sour, gin sour and cachaça (Brazilian alcohol) sour by using the same process but by replacing the pisco by desired alcohol.
