PlovPlov (Russian: плов) is dish very common in Russia and the formerly Soviet states, made with lamb, rice, carrots, onions and lots of cooking oil, occasionally with added cumin and/or Berberis. Originated from the Turkish Pilaf family of rice dishes, of which there are very many varieties with many different ingredients.External links
