Poocham
Poocham is a small settlement within the town of Westmoreland, New Hampshire, near the larger towns of Keene, New Hampshire and Brattleboro, Vermont. The older houses date from around 1800, and the rolling hills and plentiful sugar and red maple trees provide a colorful display in the autumn. By reputation, the name "Poocham" comes from an Abenaki Indian word meaning gathering place. The community is almost entirely comprised of homes and farms, but a small fluorite mine and a bed-and-breakfast are also present.
