Princess AikoPrincess Aiko (愛子, born December 1, 2001), titled Toshi-no-miya (敬宮), is the first and only child of Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako. Since the Imperial Household of Japan bans succession to females, the imperial courtiers are pressuring Crown Princess Masako to have a male child. Nonetheless, the Japanese public is supportive of Aiko becoming Empress.
