Promised Messiah
The Muslim faith has a tradition that at some future time in the latter days a reformer will come into the world to revive Islam and establish it as the dominant faith. The Orthodox view is that the same Jesus of Nazareth will return to do this. One Sunni Muslim sect the Ahmadis believe that the Messiah is Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian in India, who is the embodiment of the Messiah, not the same Jesus. He will destroy with arguments Christianity and establish a Golden Age for the whole world under the 'Seal of the Prophets' Muhammad. External links |
