Psi 2000 is a Class C planetoid that was in the midst of a break up caused by titanic waves of erratic gravity. The planet was uninhabited, but a Federation research outpost was stationed there.

The planet was the source of the Psi 2000 Virus that mentally affects those infected with paranoia and dementia.
