Pube Muppit
Pube Muppit is a controversial character begun by a Newgrounds.com Macromedia Flash artist nicknamed Drunkmagikoopa in 2002. Basically consisting of a Kermit the Frog head pasted on a bunch of lines signifying pubes, the original author released two flash cartoons about PM's exploits, usually consisting of vulgar, profane and farcical sexually related rants. The author later dropped the project, but it was quickly picked up by such Newgrounds artists as Coolboyman (A.K.A. StrawberryClock) and other members of the nefarious Clock Crew. Later, new characters were added to the growing Pube pantheon such as Pube Jahken, Pube Fozzy, Pube Piggy and Pube Slave, creating a troupe called the Pube Pals, crudely akin to the Muppets series. In 2003 and 2004, multiple flash cartoons called Pube Muppit Collections were created, further portraying the pompous adventures of the now infamous character and his friends, resulting in a consequential and significant craze. It was short-lived however, since most PM cartoons eventually lacked effort, weight, or style which made them a popular fad in the earlier days of its existence. Lately, the mass production of these cartoons has staved off and it appears that the fad has dissipated.
Style No matter who copies Pube Muppit, there is a generally accepted style which is present throughout most PM cartoons. Pube Muppit's cartoons are essentially shaggy dog stories of PM's sexual desires. PM will usually go up to someone and start a monologue that begins thusly: "Hello my good man, I am the Pube Muppit."
He will then begin telling the person (who is often a man as PM is homosexual) his great sexual desires. One of the most common skits involves him requesting items from a store, which inevitably become props in his twisted fantasy: "I want (name of object)", he'll say, "but not just any (name of object)...", which he expands upon in disgusting detail. After this long schpiel, part of the humour comes from an anti-climactic response from the person PM is talking to, which is usually along the lines of: "I'm sorry sir, but we (I) don't have any (name of object in fantasy)."
To which PM replies: "What the fuck! What kind of piece of shit establishment is this? Fuck off and let me be!"
PM then storms off, after which the person retorts: "Oh wait, I have (name of object). I left it up my ass."
