Pulau Tiga

Pulau Tiga

Pulau Tiga is an uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of North Borneo. It was formed on September 21, 1897, when an earthquake on Mindanao caused a volcanic eruption near Borneo.

Pulau Tiga became famous as the scene of the first season of Survivor.

Pulau Tiga was in no way affected by the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami as the island was located in the Souh China Sea and not the Indian Ocean and was therefore shielded by Indonesia and Peninsular Malaysia from it.
