Rembrandt PealeRembrandt Peale (22 February, 1778 - 3 October, 1860) was a United States Neoclassical painter.Peale was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, the second son of Charles Willson Peale, also a well known professional artist. He spent most of his career in Philadelphia. Peale is best known for his portraits of such prominent Americans as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. External links
