John Rigby & Co. is a manufacturer of high end rifles and shotguns. Rigby is a Dublin, Ireland based company, established in 1735. Historically it has been involved with both the development of Enfield and Mauser rifles for the civilian market. The company is notable for the ammunition it developed to hunt dangerous game. Holder of the royal warrant to make rifles for Queen Elizabeth II, and appointed gun or rifle maker for King George IV, King Edward VII, King George V.
