SCCSSCCS is the Source Code Control System.It is the first source code revision control system. It was described in an article by M. J. Rochkind titled: "The Source Code Control System" in the IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, volume SE-1, number 4, pages 364-370, 1975. It is now part of the Single UNIX Specification.
