Sutton-on-the-ForestSutton-on-the-Forest is a parish in Yorkshire, 10 miles north of York and 5 miles southeast of Easingwold.Here is a very handsome parish church, dedicated to All Saints. Laurence Sterne was the vicar of this parish, but when the parsonage house was destroyed by fire, he moved to nearby Coxwold. Sutton Park is a fine house nearby.
