Sutton Courtenay

The small village of Sutton Courtenay is currently in Oxfordshire but because of boundary changes, it has previously been in Berkshire.

Is is famous for having an atomic energy station where the world's first heavy water was produced. It is also the location of George Orwell's grave, though the name on the stone is Eric Blair. As a child he fished in a local steam.
