SuttreeSuttree is a somewhat autobiographical novel by Cormac McCarthy. Set in Knoxville, it's protagonist, Cornelius Suttree, has repudiated himself from his former life of privelige to become a fisherman on the Tennessee River. The novel has been compared to James Joyce's Ulysses, John Steinbeck's Cannery Row and Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn. |
