Sylvano Bussotti

 

Sylvano Bussotti

Sylvano Bussotti (born 1931) is an Italian composer of contemporary music.

Bussotti learned to play the violin as a child. Later he studied at the Florence Conservatory and with Max Deutsch in Paris. As composer he was influenced by the serialism of Webern and later John Cage.

He has served as the artistic director of La Fenice, Venice.

His works include:
