Sylvarant

Sylvarant is the world in Namco's 2004 RPG Tales of Symphonia. The main character, Lloyd, starts off in the town of Iselia.

Sylvarant Locations:

  • Iselia - Lloyd's, Genis', and Collette's hometown. After an event at the start of the game, where the village is burnt down, Lloyd and Genis are exiled. Iselia opens up again in Disc 2.

  • Martel's Temple - A temple to the Goddess Martel, close to Iselia. This is where you meet the angel Remiel.

  • Iselia Forest - Forest separating Dirk and Lloyd's house from Iselia. The Iselia Ranch is smack-bang in the middle of it.

  • Dirk's house - House where Dirk and his adopted son Lloyd live.

  • Iselia Ranch - Desian Human ranch in Iselia forest, run by Forscystus. This is where Lloyd's mother was killed. It is infiltrated in Disc 2.

  • Triet - Desert town with an Oasis. Later you can find the location of the Sand Worm from Triet, and play the Uncle Game.

  • Triet Ruins - First seal of Sylvarant. Guarded by Ktugatch and two Ktugatchlings. Summon Spirit of Fire, Eefrit resides there.

  • Ossa Trail - Mountain pass where The Assassin is met for the first time. The Sword Dancer can be found here until after the Tower of Salvation. This is also where you learn Unison Attacks.

  • Izoold - Port town. Max lives here, and he will take you across to Palmacosta.

  • Sylvarant base - Base of the Desians, later revealed to be run bu Botta and Yuan, the renegades, who use Rheairds to travel between Sylvarant and Tethe'alla.

  • Palmacosta - Port city, and the biggest city in Sylvarant. Run by Dorr, whose wife Clara has been turnes into a monster by the Desians, and whom Dorr is trying to raise money to get reverted back to human form. Dorr is killed by Killia, and Clara escapes. Palmacosta is later destroyed.

  • Palmacosta Ranch - Desian Human ranch run by Magnius.

  • Hakonesia Peak - Mountain pass barring the way between the Palmacosta area and the Asgard/Luin area. Koton, the old man living on the pass, sells road passes for 100,000,000 Gald. However, a pass can be found in the Asgard Ranch or Palmacosta, depending on who is defeated first, Magnius or Killia.

  • Thoda Geyser - Hot Spring, accesible by 'boats' (washtubs). The third seal. Guarded by Amphitra. Summon Spirit of Water, Undine, resides there.

  • Asgard - Mountain town believed to hold the second seal. However, the seal is false. This is where Raine becomes an Acolyte.

  • Lake Umacy - A wounded Unicorn lays trapped at the bottom of this lake. You will need Boltzman's book of healing techniques and Sheena's ability Summon:Water to free it.

  • Balacruf Mausoleum - The second Seal. Guarded by Iapyx. Summon spirits of Wind, Selphie, Yutis and Fairess reside there. Flattened by the Great Seed later in the game.

  • Luin - City of Water. Destroyed by Desians, and you must donate Gald in 12 installments to completely rebuild it. Where Sheena joins your party.

  • Hima - Mountain Village. Home of Pietro, and the Dragon Tours Guy, who takes you to the Tower of Salvation.

  • Tower of Mana - The fourth Seal guarded by Iubaris. The Summon Spirits of Light, Luna and Aska, reside here.

  • Tower of Salvation - Extremely large tower. This is where you fight Kratos and Remiel, meet Yggdrassil, and Cruxis' plot is revealed. The same Tower in Tethe'alla is the gate to Derris-Kharlan.

  • Katz Village - Village where the Katz live. People have speculated the Katz are normal people dressed in costumes.
