SynrocSynroc, i.e. "Synthetic Rock", is a means of disposing of radioactive waste. It is a ceramic which incorporates most of the elements of radioactive waste into its crystal structure. It was invented in 1978 by Ted Ringwood. It has not yet experienced commercial use.External links
