S&S Power
S&S Power is the premier company for pneumatically launched rides. They make many of the popular space shot rides that are shot using compressed air. They also make very fast pneumatically launch rollercoasters. Paramount King's Dominion in Doswell, Virginia is home to Hypersonic XLC. In this ride, compressed air launches the car from 0-80 mph in 1.8 seconds. Another S&S Power roller coaster is Dodonpa, located at Fuji-Q Highland in Japan. This is launched from 0-106.9 mph in 1.8 seconds. S&S Power recently purchased Arrow Dynamics, renaming it S&S Arrow.
