The Pembroke Hill School
The Pembroke Hill School or Pembroke Hill is a preparatory school located on two campuses near the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1984, the Sunset Hill School for girls (founded in 1913) merged with the Pembroke Country-Day School (or "Pem-Day") for boys (founded in 1910). The former Sunset Hill campus became home to preschool through sixth grade, and the former Pem-Day campus became home to seventh grade through 12th grade. Pembroke Hill recently completed a multi-million dollar capital improvement project, which renovated both campuses. The new upper school campus includes a new middle school building, which now serves the sixth through eighth grades, a new upper school building, as well as a new library.
