Titan (Warhammer 40,000)
In the Warhammer 40,000 universe a Titan is a huge mech, in the game Epic 40,000 a Titan model stands 7cm high next to a standard human at around 4mm.
The Titan forces of the Imperium of Man are an independent fighting force organised into Titan Legions based on forge worlds.
In the background they are described as standing between twenty to fifty meters tall, sometimes larger and come in a variety of size classes such as the Warhound, Reaper, Warlord, Imperator and Psi-Titan.
The weaponry they carry are usually dedicated to the complete destruction of high priority and well armoured enemies, such as fortresses or armoured divisions. Some of the weaponry they carry are Vulcan Mega-Bolters, Plasma Blast Guns and Turbo lasers; each one capable of immense destruction.
The 'Captain' of a Titan is called the Princeps and it is he that is in command of the Titan and its crew. The Princeps is a rare individual in the way that he can retain his sanity after connecting with the AI or 'Machine Spirit' of the Titan.
