Toxic Substances Control Act

The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) is a United States law, passed in 1979, that regulates the introduction of new chemicals. In contrast to REACH, a proposed regulation currently (as of 2004) under discussion in the European Union, it grandfathered in existing chemicals.
