TTF Direct Relief

Due to lack of resources, we are only able to offer help on a case by case basis - usually cases that we have come across in the course of managing the TTF site or cases referred by others. We have to start somewhere ...

Take children for instance, reports say over 300 in Phang Nga (north of Phuket and the worst hit) alone have lost either father or mother, 20 or so of whom have lost both parents to the disaster. How soon will aid get to them? For surviving family members who are already void of resources, this burden is enormous.

"TTF Direct Relief" will put up case summaries and the estimated costs/expenses required and post them on the site. Donors can opt to contribute a lump sum or specify which case they wish to support. When enough funds are available for one case, there will be a handover ceremony in the presence of an official or before an elder of the family. The event will be archived and a report given to the donor.

Please note that this is essentially a private effort using limited resources. We have volunteered time, equipment and miscellaneous expenses to start the program. Your generosity will go a long way!
