Type 95 torpedoThe type 95 torpedo was a torpedo of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Based on the formidable long lance type 93 torpedo, it was smaller in payload, range and diameter, and intended to be fired from a standard 21 inch torpedo tube of a submerged submarine. Type 95 torpedoes were also air launched, including in the Pearl Harbor attack. Some have claimed this to be the best torpedo of the second world war. External links
