Ugar

Ugar Khurd is a small town in the district of Belgaum, state of Karnataka, country India.
It is known for Ugar Sugar Works.
It lies on the banks of mighty Krishna River.
The population is about 30,000 of whom almost 5,000 work in Sugar Works.
Ugar Sugar Works finances and administers Shri Hari Vidyalaya. This is school to around 3,000 students, from 1st grade to bachelor degree.
